Boundary No Boundary

Stages

The Wakefield Boundary is approximately 60 miles long. For Boundary No Boundary I have divided it into 20 x three miles stages.

I will walk and explore this space and I would like people that live near the boundary on either side to join me.

I wish to find out what this boundary means to them. Do they acknowledge it? Ignore it? Dismiss it?

The boundary follows many foot paths and roads. It does, however, cut across fields, railway lines and private land. I will be finding the most suitable route to follow the boundary as close as I can without trespassing and endangering myself. This will mean considerable detours to get around such obstacles. I won’t be publishing a walking map or route as this is a project of discovery and I have no idea what route I’ll take. I will post the start and end points. The boundary is marked on most maps but please feel free to contact me for guidance should you wish! Happy discovering!

These are the 20 stages - (the dates are subject to change and I will endeavour to update)
